Resident Services Coordinator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides general service management which includes intake, education (services available and application procedures) and referral of residents to service providers in the general community.
• May include tasks such as meals-on-wheels, transportation, home health aides, homemakers, financial assistance, counseling, preventative health screening, and other needed services.
• Works with project-based residents to find employment, job training, and economic development opportunities.
• Searches and informs residents of job fairs, job openings, and seeks out job advancement information and opportunities.
• Aids residents in developing resumes and coordinating educational opportunities related to health care, agency support, life skills, safety, credit, etc.
• Sponsors wellness and educational events based on findings from daily research that benefit the residents.
• Maintains a good working relationship with area agencies to ensure their assistance.
• Develops a Resource Directory of state and/or local service providers that residents can contact for assistance.
• Assists residents with economic development and opening/advising on establishing bank accounts.
• Works with non-profit organizations to provide services and activities for residents.
• Serves as a liaison to community agencies, networks with community providers, and seeks out new services available to residents.
• Informs residents about available services and benefits and how to apply for them.
• Assists office staff with administrative duties including, but not limited to, filing, answering phones, and data entry.
• Greet and assist all prospective residents.
• Helps create and maintain a company direction designed to develop loyalty, team spirit, and unity among Envolve Management Company personnel.
• Maintains accurate receiving and recording of any resident requests.
• Aids residents in inspecting their new apartment home.
• Assists the Manager in implementing resident renewal and retention programs.
• Performs any other job duties as assigned.
