Resident Services Coordinator
About the role
The Resident Services Coordinator will work with KCHA staff and Public Housing participants to support resident stability. They will assess resident needs, provide information and referrals to social services, and connect residents to programs and services that will help them achieve their goals. The coordinator will also act as a liaison between local community governmental agencies, community councils, individuals, and residents.
Responsibilities

- Act as a liaison between local community governmental agencies, community councils, individuals, and residents.
- Maintain client confidentiality and document all resident contact in client software systems including ETO.
- Cookout with residents to discuss their situation and help problem solve.
- Assist residents in identifying and resolving challenges and issues.
- Participate in the development and implementation of goals, work plans, performance measures, and continuous improvement of service delivery to assist in attaining the program initiatives and goals, agency core strategies, and mission.
- Use data tracking software/systems (OnBase, ETO, TenMast and Yardi) to input participant data on a regular basis.
- Access data and verify accuracy of data on a regular basis.
- Complete all required paperwork, documentation and maintain participant files per department standards.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with degrees preferred in social work, human services, public administration or related field AND Considerable experience (3+ to 5 years) in social work, early education, housing programs and/or community development programming OR An equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of this position.

- Proficiency with MS Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Willingness to learn and utilize database software, including OnBase, ETO, TenMast and Yardi.
Special Requirements
- Consent to and pass required assessments.
- Must be able to travel regularly between work sites as required to perform the essential functions of the position and have a reliable means of transportation to meet those travel requirements.
- A valid driver's license may be required for positions where driving is an essential job function.
- Employees must reside in Washington State and having the ability to report to the Central Office in Tukwila will be required.

Salary & Benefits
The salary range for this position is $40.76 - $47.88 hourly dependent on qualifications and professional experience. The complete salary range for this position is $40.76 - $55.01 hourly. Performance based merit increase opportunities and COLAs are reviewed on an annual basis.
