About The Opportunity

Our client is seeking a customer-focused Resident Relations Specialist to support a short-term project in a fast-paced property management environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills who enjoys helping customers, managing inquiries, and ensuring timely follow-up on service requests. The position is primarily focused on phone and email communication with residents and vendors while assisting with the resolution and routing of support tickets.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident and vendor inquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
• Manage and close communication tickets related to resident concerns, lease renewals, rental inquiries, complaints, and general questions.
• Route and assign tickets to the appropriate property teams or managers as needed.
• Follow up on open inquiries to ensure prompt resolution and excellent customer service.
• Utilize a ticketing system to track, update, and monitor service requests.
• Assist with a project aimed at reducing ticket backlogs and improving response times.
• Maintain accurate records of communications and customer interactions.
• Provide administrative support related to resident relations and customer service functions.

Requirements

• Previous resident services, administrative support, or office experience required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple inquiries and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Comfortable working with technology and learning new software applications.
• Experience with ticketing systems is a plus; Zendesk experience is preferred, not required.
• Experience with Yardi is preferred but not required.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Professional demeanor and commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
