Resident Journeyman Field Service Technician / Mechanic

About the role

As a Resident Journeyman Field Technician, you will work on material handling equipment at customer locations to ensure that their equipment is running in peak form and maximizing uptime. Being a journeyman, you will handle tough jobs, travel the area in a fully loaded Pape’ service vehicle, perform top-notch work on equipment, interact with customers, and ensure jobs are completed correctly.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair all brands of material handling equipment at customer sites.
• Perform field service tasks with minimal supervision.
• Maintain excellent customer relations and communication.
• Operate a company service vehicle safely and responsibly.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing all brands of material handling equipment.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation and assertiveness.
• Ability to work under little or no supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record (CDL preferred).
• Must provide own tools.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test.

Pay

$30–40/hour (depending on experience).
