About the Role

As a Journeyman Field Technician / Mechanic, you will work on construction and forestry equipment at customer locations to ensure that their equipment is running in peak form and maximizing uptime. Being a journeyman, we will count on you when a tough job needs to get done. Every day, picture yourself traveling the area in a fully loaded Pape’ service vehicle, performing top-notch work on equipment, interacting with customers, and knowing that they can count on you to get the job done right.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair all brands of heavy diesel equipment.
  • Work on construction and forestry equipment at customer locations.
  • Ensure equipment is running in peak form and maximizing uptime.
  • Interact with customers and perform top-notch work on equipment.
  • Travel to customer locations in a fully loaded Pape' service vehicle.
  • Count on when a tough job needs to get done.

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing all brands of heavy diesel equipment.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work under little or no supervision.
  • Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
  • Driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Must provide own tools.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Pay

$31.03-46.54/hr (Depending on Experience)
