Journeyman Field Technician / Mechanic

Job Summary

Pape’ Machinery, the premier capital equipment dealer in the West, is seeking a Journeyman level Field Technician to join their team in Tacoma. This position offers a career path with investment in training, resources, and support.

What You’ll Do

• Work on construction and forestry equipment at customer locations to ensure peak performance and maximize uptime.
• Perform top-notch work on equipment, interact with customers, and ensure reliability.

What You Need

• 5 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing all brands of heavy diesel equipment.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation and ability to work under little or no supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• A Class B CDL with a good driving record.
• Must provide own tools.

Compensation

• $37.92-55/hr (Depending on Experience)
