Journeyman Shop Technician / Mechanic

Job Summary

Pape’ Machinery, a premier capital equipment dealer in the West, is seeking a Journeyman Shop Technician to join their team. This position offers competitive pay, great benefits, and opportunities for advancement.

What You’ll Do

• Work on construction and forestry equipment in the shop to ensure accurate and timely repairs
• Support customers by maximizing their equipment uptime
• Collaborate with other trained technicians in a supportive environment
• Perform technical diagnostics and repairs as part of a team

What You Need

• At least 10 years of experience in diagnosing and repairing all makes and models of new and used heavy equipment
• A team-oriented personality and the drive to work independently without direct supervision
• The discipline and skill to complete a technical diagnostic and repair training program
• The ability to operate a lift truck and other heavy equipment – training will be provided

Compensation

$54.16/hr (Position covered by a collective bargaining agreement)
