About the Role

As a Journeyman Field Technician / Mechanic, you will work on construction and forestry equipment at customer locations to ensure that their equipment is running in peak form and maximizing uptime. Being a journeyman, we will count on you when a tough job needs to get done. Every day, picture yourself traveling the area in a fully loaded Pape’ service vehicle, performing top-notch work on equipment, interacting with customers, and knowing that they can count on you to get the job done right.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair all brands of heavy diesel equipment
  • Work on construction and forestry equipment at customer locations
  • Ensure equipment is running in peak form and maximizing uptime
  • Perform top-notch work on equipment
  • Interact with customers
  • Know that customers can count on you to get the job done right

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing all brands of heavy diesel equipment
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Self-motivation and Ability to work under little or no supervision
  • Excellent communication and customer relations skills
  • Driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Must provide own tools

Qualifications

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test

  • Strong mechanical aptitude

Pay

$37.92-56.89/hr (Depending on Experience)
