With a staff of over 450, EAH develops multi-family housing, manages over 100 properties in California and Hawaii, and plays a leadership role in local, regional, and national housing advocacy efforts.
Position Overview
Assists residents in achieving housing stability, improved health outcomes, and overall wellbeing. Engages residents with culturally responsive service navigation, health-related support, and community-building activities within EAH Housing communities. Connects residents to existing social services, examines needs for on-site services, and explores ways to bring programs to the property, serving as a bridge between residents, property management, service providers, Managed Care Plans (MCPs), and community-based organizations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in social services, public health, or related field
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in human services, community-based work, CHW roles, including at least two years’ experience with supportive housing or social services
- Lived experience or deep familiarity with the communities served
Other Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and DMV clearance
- Access to reliable transportation
Desirable Additional Qualifications
- Community Health Worker (CHW) certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Public Health, or related field
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal housing regulations
- Familiarity with funding sources for housing and programs
- Familiarity with Medi-Cal, CalAIM, MCPs, or county service systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, including complex and time sensitive projects
- Bilingual/multilingual, a plus
