Resident Care Manager - RN

Marquis Companies, founded in 1989, is a growing healthcare organization operating post‑acute rehab and assisted living facilities, home care, rehab services, and a pharmacy across California, Oregon, and Nevada.

About the Role

As a Resident Care Manager (RCM) – RN, you will conduct and coordinate resident assessments (MDS) in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines, including the implementation of CAAs. You will collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, interdisciplinary teams, and families, and manage care through the Charge Nurse, Certified Nursing Assistant, and Medication Nurse to ensure the highest quality of life for residents. The facility utilizes an electronic medical records and electronic charting system.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and coordinate resident assessments (MDS) following current regulations and guidelines, including CAAs.
• Coordinate care with physicians, healthcare providers, interdisciplinary teams, and families.
• Manage daily care delivery through the Charge Nurse, Certified Nursing Assistant, and Medication Nurse.
• Utilize the electronic medical records and electronic charting system for documentation and communication.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in the appropriate state.
• Strong assessment and care‑planning skills.
• 2–3 years of RN experience (required).
• Long‑term care experience and a passion for working with the senior population preferred.
• Experience in Nurse Supervisor roles encouraged.
• Hands‑on training provided on Marquis nursing systems and procedures.
