Requirements
- Current Ontario Registered Practical Nurse Certificate of Competence.
- Completion of an IPAC Canada-endorsed Infection Prevention and Control post-secondary course or equivalent, or willingness to take the course.
- Certificate in Infection Control and Epidemiology (CIC) required or willing to take the course.
- Demonstrated leadership, teaching, critical thinking, and administrative ability.
- Working knowledge of the Compliance Management Program and Quality Improvement tools and techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written, and computer).
- Familiar with regulations of WHMIS and able to complete the WHMIS test.
Pay
The salary range is $76,000 - $85,000 based on experience and qualifications.
