Resident Care Coordinator RCC (Long Term Care)

About the role

Caressant Care is seeking a passionate Resident Care Coordinator RCC Lead to join their team in St. Thomas, Ontario (Bonnie Place).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the resident care team.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and policies.
• Develop and implement resident care plans.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided.
• Collaborate with families to support resident care goals.

Requirements

• Current Ontario Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse Certificate of Competence.
• Minimum of three (3) years geriatric experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and administrative ability.
• Working knowledge of the Compliance Management Program.
• Excellent interpersonal and teaching skills.
• Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and computer).
• Familiar with WHMIS regulations and able to complete the WHMIS test.

• Experience in managing a team of caregivers.

Pay

The salary range is $76,000 - $85,000 based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Full-time position.
