Resident Care Coordinator - Avamere at Seaside!

Type: Full-Time • Shift: Varies • Location: Avamere at Seaside, 2500 Roosevelt Drive, Seaside, OR 97138

Responsibilities

• Document information pertaining to changes in residents’ status, needs, and appointments
• Ensure proper documentation of all care plans, nurses notes, and all other resident correspondence
• Provide orientation and on-the-job training to Caregivers and Medication Aides
• Assist with daily living activities (i.e., bathing, dressing, and eating)
• Measure, record, and assist with wellness clinics
• Conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly audits
• Manage scheduling of clinical staff
• Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, calm, and joy
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident care in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
• Complete on-going training as assigned
• Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High-school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Certified Nursing Assistant preferred
• Must have First Aid & CPR Certification upon hire, or receive within 30 days
• Must have a Food Handlers Card, or receive within 30 days
• Must have at least 1 year of strong caregiver or medication aide experience in senior living
• Strong experience as a Medication Aide
