Resident Care Coordinator

Job Highlights

We are seeking an outstanding individual to join the nursing team as a Resident Care Coordinator. You will support clinical services such as resident medication management, service planning, and supervising the nursing staff. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by ensuring they receive excellent direct care.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and training the nursing staff to ensure quality of care
• Providing resident care when there are staffing needs, including on-call rotation
• Completing the daily shift report and communicating changes or concerns to the appropriate staff
• Verifying the proper distribution and required documentation of medication, treatments, and orders
• Participating in regular resident assessments and service planning, and following up with ancillary health care services as needed
• Assisting with the move-in and move-out process including tours, orientation, and family communication
• Acting as the lead supervisor in the Director’s absence

Requirements

• Required: State certification to pass medications
• Required: Current CPR certification
• Prior to employment, you must pass a drug screening
• Prior to employment, you must complete a background check
• Prior to employment, you must provide proof of liability insurance
• Preferred: At least 1 year of experience passing medications
• Preferred: Previous experience supervising direct care staff, preferably in a senior living environment
