Responsibilities

  • Scheduling, coaching, and training the Companions and medication passer/techs
  • Assuring safe medication and wellness delivery systems
  • Training, scheduling, supervising, and assigning duties to Care Partners and Medication Techs
  • Participating in the interviewing and hiring process of Care Partners and Medication Techs
  • Assisting the Administrator Wellness Director in adjusting staffing levels based on occupancy and care levels
  • Assisting elders with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing linens, positioning, transfers, mobility, and incontinence care
  • Documenting and updating Elders' Growth and Wellness Plans
  • Assisting with and documenting medications under the supervision of the Wellness Director

Requirements

  • Desire and talent to lead a high-functioning, empowered team
  • Experience working as a Care Partner and Medication Tech
  • Computer literacy, social media savvy, and proficiency in specified online programs
  • Good verbal communication skills and ability to communicate in English with residents and coworkers
  • To meet all health requirements specified by state and federal regulations
  • To perform job responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation
  • To pass a criminal background check
  • To have the ability to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodation
