About the role
Resettlement Navigators serve as a central point of support for refugees and New Americans during their resettlement journey. Assignment-based team members help connect individuals and families to critical community resources while supporting successful integration and self-sufficiency.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals and families with housing, benefits, healthcare, employment, and community services
- Support pre-arrival and arrival coordination, including apartment setup and airport pickups
- Help clients navigate cultural adjustment and access community resources
- Collaborate with community agencies and partners to coordinate referrals
- Maintain documentation, case notes, and client records
- Support specialized service areas such as housing, mental health, employment, elder care, or school support
Requirements
- Bilingual candidates and individuals with lived experience similar to the populations we serve are strongly encouraged to apply, particularly those who speak Swahili, Kinyarwanda, or other community languages
- This position is based in Concord, NH and requires local travel within the community
