Reservoir Engineering Specialist

About the role

The Storage Engineering Specialist is responsible for maintaining the integrity and compliance of the BlueWater Gas Storage facility. This position is part of a job family (Associate Engineering Specialist, Engineering Specialist, and Senior Engineering Specialist) where experience will be the determining factor.

Job Responsibilities

• Engineering design and support of well drilling and well abandonment operations
• Engineering support for projects and maintenance activities
• Absorb and track storage inventories
• Maintain and monitor the integrity of wells and reservoirs (API 1171)
• Maintain and oversee workovers and well logging
• Compile and interpret data, maintain records
• Work closely with Management to maintain compliance regarding PHMSA Regulations (Storage Integrity & CFR part 192) as well as Environmental and Safety
• Provide support for audits and inspections

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related technical discipline. In lieu of Bachelor’s degree, an Associate’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related technical discipline with five years of engineering/project management experience will be accepted.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Geological, Chemical, Mechanical)
• 2+ years of experience in computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• 2+ years of underground gas storage experience

Pay

Pay Range Minimum: $68,436.68
Pay Range Maximum: $135,761.08
