Responsibilities
- Perform integrated reservoir studies and reserve and economic analyses for exploration, development, and acquisition opportunities.
- Contribute to acquisitions, exploration activities, and development drilling programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Petroleum Engineering with 2+ years industry experience in unconventional oil and gas reservoirs, specifically tight sands and shales in the Permian (Delaware) Basin, South Texas (Eagle Ford), and East Texas/North Louisiana (Haynesville/Cotton Valley).
- Registered professional engineer (or in process) with knowledge of reserves analysis under SEC guidelines.
- Ability to predict reserves/production profiles and perform economic evaluations of exploration and development drilling projects, acquisitions, and divestitures.
- Experience with production/nodal and pressure transient analysis to optimize production.
- Experience with well completions and hydraulic fracture stimulation methods.
- Petrophysical skills including open hole log and advanced core analysis.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability and desire to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Independent, self-motivated, creative, and results-oriented.
