Reservoir Engineer

Overview

Handshake is seeking experienced energy industry professionals to contribute to AI research through flexible, hourly contract work. This role does not follow a traditional employment model. You will leverage your practical experience in reservoir engineering, subsurface analysis, and production operations to assess AI-generated content and offer insights that enhance AI's understanding of subsurface workflows and engineering practices.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional experience in reservoir engineering, subsurface analysis, or production operations, including roles such as Reservoir Engineer, Petrophysicist, Production Engineer, or Reserves Analyst.
• Hands-on experience with one or more of the following tools: Petrel, ARIESTechlog, Avocet, AVEVA PI.
• Strong written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and asynchronously with AI research teams.
