About the role

The iconic Arizona Biltmore is located in the heart of the prestigious Biltmore neighborhood in Phoenix. The resort was named the “Jewel of the Desert” since its opening on February 23, 1929. This gorgeous 39-acre property reopened in May 2021 after undergoing a $150 million restoration. It has over 700 rooms, over 200,000 square feet in banquet space spread out over the beautiful property, 9 food and beverage outlets (including 2 restaurants, 2 bars, 2 poolside bars, a gelato shop/café, and in-room dining), a luxury spa, and 7 pools including a 65' waterslide.

Responsibilities

  • Answer all reservations telephone calls and e-mails in a friendly manner, using clear English communication.
  • When processing e-mails or listening to callers, ensures a clear understanding of their inquiries and requests.
  • Promptly provides accurate information regarding availability of accommodations and other requested information.
  • Aid other departments such as Sales, Meetings and Conventions and Front Office with reservation related questions.
  • Aid with group blocks including communicating with internal/external clients, inputting of reservations.
  • Reviews pick up.
  • Aid HRCC with questions, problems or concerns that arise concerning reservations made at the hotel.
  • Maintain suite reservation request process and inventory controls for all suites and other room accommodations, as needed, to maximize revenue and meet customer needs.
  • Review advance deposit reservations and make corrections as needed.

Requirements

This is a full-time position, the ideal candidate must have Saturday and Sunday availability.

Qualifications

  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous hotel or resort experience preferred
  • A strong desire to make an impact on other people
  • An outgoing and engaging personality
  • Computer skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
