About the role

Nightwing seeks a full-time Research Operations Specialist to conduct comprehensive searches within client repositories, respond to FOIA, Privacy Act requests, Congressional inquiries, and support Office of General Council investigations. The position requires significant IC experience and TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Responsibilities

  • Run queries and perform in-depth searches to obtain responsive documents
  • Analyze search results to determine applicability to requests
  • Reduce or eliminate duplicate records/documents
  • Capture documented details of queries/searches performed and record the results
  • Submit requests to the scanning team for documents needed for research
  • Aid in training newly hired search team members
  • Collaborate with supervisory client POCs to recommend and implement process improvements
  • Work an eight-hour shift between 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday-Friday
  • Occasionally provide surge support outside of normal office hours for urgent requests

Requirements

The ideal candidate must have significant prior customer knowledge and experience in the Intelligence Community (IC).

Qualifications

Experience in conducting comprehensive searches within client repositories, responding to FOIA, Privacy Act requests, Congressional inquiries, and supporting Office of General Council investigations is required. A minimum of one year of experience is preferred.

Skills

Strong analytical skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, proficiency in using search tools, and attention to detail are essential.

Schedule

Eight-hour shifts between 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday-Friday. Occasional overtime may be required for surge support.
