Responsibilities
- Scientific research in the field of pulmonary medicine with a focus on experimental design and implementation.
- Preparation of scientific papers.
- Grants writing and grants proposals.
- Characterize alveolar type II biology and dysfunction in a model of pulmonary fibrosis.
- Expertise in murine modeling of pulmonary fibrosis, as demonstrated by publication record.
- Experience with bioinformatics, including the generation of samples, processing of raw data, and the production of publication quality visual representations.
- Experience with flow cytometry and primary cell isolation from human lungs.
- Translate novel epithelial and mesenchymal populations in mice to the relevant equivalent in human models.
- Prepare manuscripts.
- Mentor students.
- Write grants.
Requirements
- An M.D., Ph.D., or M.D./Ph.D. degree.

- Demonstrated excellent qualifications in research.
Skills
