Mid-Level Labor and Employment Associate

Responsibilities

• litigation defense
• advising employers on compliance with state and federal employment laws
• working on FMLA, ADA, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful discharge, and violation of wage and hour law matters
• taking depositions
• arguing motions
• preparing cases for trial

Requirements

• three - five years of experience
• a license to practice in Kentucky
• out of state candidates willing to sit for the bar exam or eligible for admission in Kentucky

Qualifications

• strong academic background
• excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills
