Franchise and Distribution - Associate (Mid-Level) - Aspen/Denver

About the role

The Franchise and Distribution Practice at Greenberg Traurig seeks a Mid-Level Associate to join our Aspen or Denver office. This position offers competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Work on sophisticated transactional matters, including franchise program development, regulatory compliance, commercial agreements, international expansion strategies, and franchise-related mergers and acquisitions.
• Provide advice to leading and emerging brands on the development, expansion, and operation of franchise, licensing, and distribution networks in the United States and around the world.
• Manage a challenging workload within a fast-paced environment, accepting significant responsibility and working closely with clients.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience with mergers and acquisitions, general corporate, and/or licensing matters.
• Preferred: Franchise experience, but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills, high degree of maturity, and a proven willingness to accept significant responsibility.
• Strong academic credentials, detail-oriented, and excellent writing skills.
• Admitted to the Colorado Bar or eligible for admission to the Colorado Bar.

Pay

The expected pay range for this position is $215,000 to $265,000 per year. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Schedule

Full-time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.

Location

This position is located in either the Aspen or Denver office.
