About the role

The Franchise and Distribution Practice at Greenberg Traurig seeks a Mid-Level Associate to join our Aspen or Denver office. This position offers competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package.

Responsibilities

  • Advising leading and emerging brands on the development, expansion, and operation of franchise, licensing, and distribution networks.
  • Working on sophisticated transactional matters, including franchise program development, regulatory compliance, commercial agreements, international expansion strategies, and franchise-related mergers and acquisitions.
  • Serving clients across numerous industries and jurisdictions, offering significant opportunities for direct client contact and exposure to complex transactions.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience with mergers and acquisitions, general corporate, and/or licensing matters.
  • Preferred: Franchise experience, but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, high degree of maturity, and a proven willingness to accept significant responsibility and manage a challenging workload within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong academic credentials, detail-oriented, and writing skills are essential.
  • Must be admitted to the Colorado Bar or eligible for admission to the Colorado Bar.

Pay

The expected pay range for this position is $215,000 to $265,000 per year. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
