About the Role

Core focus: Hands-on analytical chemistry, chromatographic techniques, molecular biology testing, and laboratory support. Responsibilities

  • Prepare samples, execute analytical testing, and perform routine data analysis with rapid turnaround times.
  • Operate and maintain analytical instrumentation, including LC systems, LC/MS, LC/CAD, qPCR, DLS, plate readers, and automated liquid handlers.
  • Perform peer data review, assist with method troubleshooting, and support scientific interpretation of results.
  • Partner with process development team members to share data, observations, and key findings.
  • Support high-throughput workflows and contribute to continuous improvement efforts that boost lab efficiency.
  • Maintain complete, accurate laboratory documentation and adhere to standard operating and safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Analytical Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in analytical chemistry, process development, or a related laboratory setting.
  • Foundational understanding of chromatography and analytical characterization techniques.
  • Familiarity with good laboratory practices, documentation standards, and strong organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with chromatographic techniques such as IEX and RP separations (UV, MS, or CAD detection).
  • Exposure to molecular biology methods (qPCR, ELISA) or biophysical characterization (DLS).
  • Familiarity with laboratory automation tools (Hamilton, Tecan, Echo) and relevant software platforms (Chromeleon, QuantStudio, LIMS, ELN).
  • A collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and enthusiasm for learning in a modern laboratory environment.

Pay

Up to $48.00 per hour.
