This position is in the lab of Dr. Sasaki, Department of Biomedical Sciences, School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. The appointment will initially be for one year with continuation and renewal based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three years).
About the role
This role focuses on the investigation of human germ cell development and its reconstitution in vitro.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research on human germ cell development using cell culture and human organoid models.
- Perform genetic manipulation of human pluripotent stem cells.
- Apply single-cell genomics and bioinformatics analyses.
Requirements
- Ph.D. degree.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Expertise in cell culture, human organoid models, and genetic manipulation of human pluripotent stem cells.
Qualifications
Candidates with experience in single-cell genomics and bioinformatics analyses are highly competitive.
