The Department of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine seeks candidates for a Research Associate position in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will initially be for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years).
The lab of Dr. Sasaki in the Department of Biomedical Sciences focuses on the investigation of human germ cell development and its reconstitution in vitro.
Responsibilities
- Cell culture and human organoid models
- Genetic manipulation of human pluripotent stem cells
- Single-cell genomics and bioinformatics analyses (preferred)
Requirements
- Ph.D. degree
- At least 3 years of relevant postdoctoral experience
