About the role
Yancey Bros. Co., established in 1914, serves as the authorized Caterpillar equipment dealer for Georgia, focusing on sales, parts, and service for various Caterpillar products.
Responsibilities
- Maintain customer satisfaction and maximize machine utilization within the designated trade area.
- Handle transactions for customers over the phone and in person, including rental agreements and equipment deliveries/pickups.
- Administer rental agreements, ensuring accurate records and timely equipment returns.
- Manage daily logs of phone calls and customer interactions, handling customer complaints professionally.
- Participate in safety programs and complete additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Prior experience in sales with strong leadership skills.
- A competitive nature and initiative.
- Enjoy talking to people, developing relationships with customers, and working in a team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Computer skills including Internet Explorer, Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint.
- Comprehend, speak, and write the English language.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Highly organized in a fast-paced work environment.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, related experience, knowledge of Spanish language.
