Rental Specialist

About the role

Yancey Bros. Co., established in 1914, serves as the authorized Caterpillar equipment dealer for Georgia, focusing on sales, parts, and service for various Caterpillar products.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer satisfaction and maximize machine utilization within the designated trade area.
• Handle transactions for customers over the phone and in person, including rental agreements and equipment deliveries/pickups.
• Administer rental agreements, ensuring accurate records and timely equipment returns.
• Manage daily logs of phone calls and customer interactions, handling customer complaints professionally.
• Participate in safety programs and complete additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Prior experience in sales with strong leadership skills.
• A competitive nature and initiative.
• Enjoy talking to people, developing relationships with customers, and working in a team environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Computer skills including Internet Explorer, Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint.
• Comprehend, speak, and write the English language.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Highly organized in a fast-paced work environment.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, related experience, knowledge of Spanish language.
