About the role
Yancey Bros. Co., established in 1914, serves as the authorized Caterpillar equipment dealer for Georgia, focusing on sales, parts, and service for various Caterpillar equipment types.
Responsibilities
- Maintain superior customer service by ensuring the customer is always taken care of.
- Determine customer needs to enhance their rental experience.
- Check equipment availability and schedule maintenance to meet deadlines.
- Ensure timely delivery and pickup of equipment to meet customer needs.
- Administer rental agreements, including rental out and in dates.
- Record daily logs of phone calls and customer interactions.
- Handle customer complaints professionally, offering solutions rather than excuses.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in sales with strong leadership skills.
- A competitive nature and initiative.
- Enjoy talking to people, developing relationships with customers, and working in a team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Computer skills including Internet Explorer, Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint.
- Comprehend, speak, and write the English language.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and over the telephone.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Highly organized in a fast-paced work environment.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university or related equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of Spanish language.
