Rental Manager

About the role

The Rental Manager at Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC's MHC Truck Leasing location in Little Rock, oversees and directs the Rental Department personnel to meet company objectives. This includes planning, organizing, and controlling Rental activities, setting and achieving sales and marketing goals, evaluating performance, and developing and training personnel.

Essential Functions

• Plans and directs Rental activities of the branch.
• Directs and coordinates all activities of the Rental Department at the assigned branch, aiming to accomplish company objectives.
• Develops a sales and marketing program to achieve specific sales, utilization, and profit targets based on current market conditions.
• Evaluates Rental performance against established targets and standards and takes appropriate actions as necessary.
• Appraises performance of Rental Department personnel against established standards and targets.
• Controls Rental utilization through analysis of market potential in accordance with established goals.
• Develops and trains Rental Department personnel to ensure objectives are met.

Qualifications

• Sales experience or recent training.
• Strong organization skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Available on call-out basis to service customers.
• Must be Company/Team-minded.
• CDL preferred.
