About the role
The Rental Coordinator works with customers to determine the best equipment for their jobs and coordinates rental transactions. This position requires a strong understanding of the rental process and the ability to assist customers in various aspects of their equipment needs.
Responsibilities
- Processes and accurately invoices Cat and non-Cat rentals, damage charges, and demos
- Maintains records on all rental equipment that is transferred or sold out of the Rental Fleet
- Applies applicable taxes to invoices
- Reviews shipping and receiving documents for accuracy and completeness
- Prepares, processes, and distributes rental, credit, and sales documents
- Enters lost-sales rental data into the computer system
- Coordinates shipping and receiving of equipment with yard personnel
- Understands and completes rental transactions through direct contact with customers
- Assists customers in finding the right equipment for their job and application
- Assists customers with financial, service, and rental issues related to invoicing or account information
- Performs other duties as assigned by the manager
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- College Degree Preferred
- Courses in computers, business, and office administration preferred
- 1 year experience, preferably in a heavy equipment environment, involving customer service responsibilities
- 1+ years administrative/clerical experience
- 1+ years customer service experience

Pay
$22.00- $26.00 per hour, pay rate dependent on education and experience.
Schedule
Hours are flexible and depend on the needs of the department.
