RENTAL COORDINATOR

About the Role

A rental professional with experience in the construction rental industry, focused on identifying the specific needs of existing and potential customers. The role ensures profitability through total customer satisfaction as defined by the customer.

Responsibilities

• Determine customer needs on a daily basis.
• Take orders/requests from internal and external customers.
• Problem-solve or refer customers to someone who can meet their needs.
• Fulfill customer orders to their satisfaction and according to company guidelines.
• Work with Service Operations to ensure economical rental maintenance costs.
• Communicate essential information to sales, other employees, customers, and managers.
• Help establish competitive rental rates in assigned area.
• Review and approve service work orders on rental equipment; cross-check that warranty is filed.
• Monitor and communicate market, utilization, and trends in assigned region, including competitor trends, to management.
• Maintain accurate records and files.
• Ensure accurate billing of all short-term rental contracts.
• Work with other departments to develop effective strategies to increase sales and gross profit in the contractor division.
• Continuously improve knowledge and skills.
• Look for changes in processes and seek new innovations in products and services.
• Maintain acceptable personal and work area standards for safety, appearance, and equipment condition.
• Uphold the company’s vision, mission statements, values, and objectives.
