Remote Volunteer User Interface Designer — iLevelUP EdTech

Responsibilities

• Design interface layouts, components, states, and responsive patterns
• Translate user flows and wireframes into polished, usable screens
• Build and maintain design-system components, tokens, and documentation
• Apply typography, color, spacing, iconography, and interaction feedback consistently
• Design for accessibility, readability, mobile use, and diverse learning needs
• Prepare prototypes, annotations, and assets for developers
• Review implemented interfaces and collaborate on refinements

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating interface, product, web, or mobile design
• Proficiency with Figma or comparable collaborative design tools
• Knowledge of responsive design, design systems, accessibility, and developer handoff
• Strong visual judgment, organization, communication, and receptiveness to feedback
• Experience with education technology or youth-centered products is helpful
