Responsibilities
- Research credible scholarships, grants, fee waivers, college-access programs, and public educational resources
- Verify sponsors, deadlines, eligibility language, award details, application links, fees, geography, and accessibility
- Record source URLs, verification dates, categories, tags, and unresolved questions
- Identify scams, expired opportunities, duplicates, broken links, and misleading claims
- Prepare concise resource summaries and comparison tables
- Maintain review schedules and update records
- Collaborate with communications, outreach, application support, directory, and data teams
- Avoid guaranteeing legitimacy, eligibility, awards, or financial outcomes
Qualifications
- Strong online research, source evaluation, fact-checking, data entry, and writing skills
- Experience in scholarships, college access, financial aid, libraries, education, journalism, or research
- Ability to distinguish official sources, third-party summaries, and unresolved claims
- Careful spreadsheet, database, or CRM skills
- Understanding of scholarship scams and student privacy is helpful

This is a remote, recurring role available within the United States. Expect approximately 3–6 hours per month.
