Remote Volunteer Resource & Partnership Researcher

Responsibilities

• Research organizations, programs, coalitions, resources, eligibility information, service areas, and contacts
• Analyze alignment, gaps, duplication, accessibility, reliability, and potential partnership value
• Prepare concise profiles, source notes, comparison tables, and recommendations
• Verify public information and flag questions requiring direct partner confirmation
• Maintain research dates, citations, categories, tags, and update schedules
• Collaborate with outreach, onboarding, directory, school, health, and social-service liaisons
• Avoid presenting research as endorsement, eligibility determination, or guaranteed service
• Protect sensitive information and use only approved research sources and systems

Qualifications

• Strong online research, source evaluation, synthesis, writing, and organization
• Experience in nonprofits, social services, education, public health, community development, libraries, policy, or market research
• Ability to distinguish evidence, inference, and unresolved questions
• Comfort with spreadsheets, databases, mapping, or CRM tools
• Knowledge of Washington or national youth-serving resources is helpful

Pay

Remote, recurring role available within the United States. Expect approximately 3–6 hours per month.
