Remote Volunteer Scholarship Recipient Engagement Specialist

Responsibilities

• Complete screening, confidentiality, privacy, and youth-safeguarding training
• Send approved welcome, reminder, milestone, resource, survey, and event communications
• Maintain accurate contact preferences, participation notes, and follow-up tasks
• Connect recipients with approved mentoring, readiness, alumni, and community resources
• Support virtual gatherings, recognition, storytelling requests, and feedback activities
• Obtain consent before using names, images, stories, or outcomes
• Escalate wellbeing, complaint, eligibility, payment, or sensitive-support issues to authorized staff

Qualifications

• Experience in student support, alumni engagement, education, customer success, scholarships, community programs, or communications
• Warm, culturally responsive communication and reliable follow-through
• Strong boundaries, discretion, organization, and documentation
• Willingness to complete background screening and required training
• Multilingual skills are welcome
