About the role
We are seeking a volunteer Salesforce Administrator to configure sustainable, secure processes and assist users in working effectively within the CRM. The role involves configuring various Salesforce components, building and maintaining declarative automations, supporting data operations, troubleshooting, and collaborating with different teams.
Responsibilities
- Configure objects, fields, page layouts, record types, permissions, queues, reports, dashboards, and validation rules
- Build and maintain declarative automations using Flow and approved tools
- Support data imports, deduplication, quality checks, documentation, and release testing
- Troubleshoot user issues and coordinate role-based access
- Maintain sandboxes, change records, configuration documentation, and admin procedures
- Partner with program, outreach, volunteer, fundraising, data, and integration teams
- Recommend practical improvements that reduce manual work
- Protect sensitive information through least privilege and approved retention practices
Qualifications
- Hands-on Salesforce administration experience
- Familiarity with Flow, security, reports, dashboards, data loading, sandbox testing, and change management
- Strong requirements analysis, documentation, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Salesforce Administrator certification, Nonprofit Cloud, Education Cloud, or NPSP experience is helpful
- A commitment to privacy and careful production change control
