Remote Volunteer Lead Product Designer — iLevelUP UX/UI

Responsibilities

• Set product-design direction, priorities, standards, and review practices
• Lead discovery, information architecture, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and visual design
• Maintain an accessible design system and coherent cross-platform experience
• Plan ethical user research and translate findings into product decisions
• Review design work, mentor UX/UI volunteers, and coordinate assignments
• Partner with product and engineering leads on scope, feasibility, and delivery
• Validate implementation quality and guide iteration
• Document decisions, patterns, research, and handoff requirements

Qualifications

• Significant product, UX, UI, service, or interaction-design experience
• Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end digital-product design and leadership
• Strong Figma, prototyping, design-system, accessibility, and research skills
• Experience mentoring designers and collaborating with engineers and stakeholders
• Excellent facilitation, synthesis, documentation, and remote leadership
• Youth-centered or education-technology experience is helpful
