Remote Volunteer Front-end Developer — iLevelUP EdTech

Responsibilities

• Build and test web interfaces, components, forms, navigation, and interactive learning experiences
• Integrate approved APIs, authentication, analytics, and content
• Implement responsive behavior, accessibility, loading, errors, and edge cases
• Improve performance, browser compatibility, reliability, and maintainability
• Write automated tests and participate in code review
• Collaborate with UX, UI, content, accessibility, backend, QA, and DevOps volunteers
• Troubleshoot defects and support releases

Qualifications

• Experience with modern HTML, CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript, and a front-end framework
• Familiarity with responsive design, APIs, Git, testing, debugging, and build tools
• Knowledge of WCAG and semantic web development
• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and remote collaboration skills
• Experience with React, Vue, Angular, Next.js, design systems, or education technology is helpful
