About the role

We are Charlo, an Australian software company focused on the construction industry. We have captured high-quality screen recordings of each of our tools and have written explainers describing their features and benefits. We’re looking to hire a creative video editor to take these assets and produce a compelling marketing video aimed at engaging busy construction professionals. You will be responsible for structuring the video, determining the pacing, selecting or recommending music, and setting the overall tone. We’re looking for your creative input, not just technical editing. You will need to ensure our tool names are accurate, only show what is demonstrated, use Australian English, and select commercially licensed music. We will provide you with screen recordings, written explainers, brand assets, and logo. You will provide creative direction and the final hero video for our homepage (60-90s), one social cut (under 60s), web-ready MP4s, and all project files. We want this project to be something you would be proud to have in your portfolio.
