Description
Healthful Stories is a Seattle-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that conducts in-depth interviews with people living with chronic and complex health conditions. We exist to document the real patient journey: the delays, the barriers, and the turning points in a way that will have the greatest impact on those living with similar illnesses. Our interviews are structured and informational, not just inspirational.
Responsibilities
- Transform raw interview footage into polished, purposeful content that centers the patient voice without sensationalizing it
- Create short-form clips for social media
- Edit longer documentary-style segments
- Edit excerpts for advocacy and research audiences
Requirements
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent
- An eye for documentary-style editing — patient and precise, not flashy
- Ability to work from a brief and meet agreed-upon deadlines
- Experience with caption and subtitle workflows is a plus
