Remote Labor and Employment Attorney

Responsibilities

• Advises clients on employment law matters, including hiring, discipline, termination, accommodations, and workplace policies
• Drafts and reviews employment agreements, handbooks, policies, and related documents
• Handles administrative charges before agencies such as the EEOC, DOL, and state agencies, including preparing position statements and responses
• Counsels clients on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Supports employment-related disputes and provides strategic guidance during pre-litigation matters
• Conducts and advises on internal workplace investigations
• Provides training and practical guidance on employment law developments and best practices
• Maintains awareness of legal developments and delivers business-focused legal advice

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership
• 5+ years of labor and employment law experience
• Background in employment counseling, compliance, and dispute management
• Experience handling administrative charges and agency matters preferred
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to independently manage multiple matters and deadlines
• Practical, client-focused approach to legal problem solving
