About the Opportunity
The Entry-Level Project Coordinator will step into a foundational project operations role within the Commercial Lending team, supporting lending projects through every phase of the project lifecycle. Designed for an ambitious, detail-oriented professional, this fully remote position coordinates project schedules, tracks cross-departmental deliverables, and maintains essential lending documentation. Working alongside senior project managers, the Coordinator serves as a key communication link across underwriting, operations, and client management teams to ensure on-time project execution.
Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Project Managers and lending leads with project planning, task tracking, and milestone implementation.
- Organize and align project schedules, resource allocations, and operational documentation to guarantee deadline compliance.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, delivering clear, regular project status updates and progress reports.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain detailed project artifacts, including project plans, risk logs, process flows, and executive summaries.
- Monitor project timelines continuously, identifying potential bottlenecks or operational delays and flagging risks to leadership.
- Facilitate team alignment meetings, capture detailed meeting minutes, and track post-meeting action items to completion.
- Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to streamline lending workflows and cross-departmental handoffs.
Requirements
- Demonstrated organizational and time-management capabilities with a strong ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across digital and remote channels.
- Meticulous attention to detail paired with a structured, methodical approach to task completion.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) or equivalent cloud productivity platforms (Google Workspace, Asana, Trello).
- Proven ability to work independently, manage time responsibly, and maintain high productivity within a fully remote work environment.
- Collaborative, solution-oriented mindset with a strong desire to learn financial services workflows and project management methodologies.
- Prior administrative, customer support, or project coordination experience is beneficial but not required.
