Remote Project Coordinator
About the Role
Careerscape is supporting a client opening for a Remote Entry-Level Project Coordinator. This role focuses on supporting project planning, coordinating schedules, tracking project milestones, maintaining documentation, and assisting project teams in delivering successful business initiatives in a fully remote environment. The Project Coordinator will work closely with project managers, cross-functional teams, clients, and internal stakeholders to organize project activities, monitor progress, prepare reports, and ensure projects remain on schedule. Compensation
The salary range for this role is $60,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience, communication skills, organizational abilities, and client hiring needs. Additional compensation and benefits details will be shared during the hiring process.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate daily project activities and schedules
- Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Schedule meetings and prepare meeting agendas and notes
- Maintain project documentation and records
- Monitor project progress and report status updates
- Communicate with internal teams and stakeholders
- Assist with resource planning and task assignments
- Prepare project reports, presentations, and spreadsheets
- Identify project risks and escalate issues when appropriate
- Support project managers with administrative tasks
- Help ensure projects remain organized and on schedule
- Perform additional project coordination duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field preferred
- 0–2 years of experience in project coordination, administration, customer service, office support, or related roles
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project management software
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
- Professional, dependable, and collaborative mindset
Nice to Have
- Internship or entry-level project coordination experience
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, Monday.com, or Jira
- Experience with document management and reporting
- Knowledge of project management methodologies
