Remote | Crisis Support Agent (Community Care Advocate)
About the Role
We're hiring Community Care Advocates to support individuals and families by connecting them with critical community resources and assistance programs. This is a permanent, contract-to-hire opportunity with excellent growth potential and long-term career prospects.
Pay
$19.00 per hour.
Schedule
- Training (Onsite in Detroit):
- Week 1: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Week 2: Same schedule as your trainer
- After Training (Fully Remote): 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM

Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls from individuals seeking assistance and support.
- Listen with empathy and identify community resources that fit callers' needs.
- Provide referrals for services such as housing, food assistance, healthcare, utility assistance, childcare, employment resources, and more.
- Document interactions and maintain accurate records.

- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor
- Comfortable handling sensitive conversations
- Basic computer skills and ability to multitask
