About the role
This position involves providing clinical support in a call center environment by handling inbound calls from providers and members.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing clinical assessments.
- Determine appropriate levels of care based on medical necessity.
- Explain and administer benefits across various care levels (OP, IOP, PHP, RTC, IP).
- Manage complex or escalated issues efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, LPCC, or PhD/PsyD.
- Active, unrestricted clinical license in California (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC).
- At least 2 years of behavioral health experience.
- Legal California residency.
- Ability to work during specified hours with a dedicated home office setup.
Preferred Experience
- Dual diagnosis.
- Coordinating benefits.
- Proficiency with computer applications and softphones.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
