Detroit, MI based position with fully remote work after 2 weeks of onsite training.

We're hiring Community Care Advocates to support individuals and families by connecting them with critical community resources and assistance programs.
Pay
$19.00 per hour.

Schedule
- Training (Onsite in Detroit):
- Week 1: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Week 2: Same schedule as your trainer
- After Training (Fully Remote): 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls from individuals seeking assistance and support.
- Listen with empathy and identify community resources that fit callers’ needs.
- Provide referrals for services such as housing, food assistance, healthcare, utility assistance, childcare, employment resources, and more.
- Document interactions and maintain accurate records.

- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor
- Comfortable handling sensitive conversations
- Basic computer skills and ability to multitask
