About the role
The Release Train Engineer (RTE) is responsible for facilitating and maturing the Agile Release Train (ART) to ensure predictable delivery and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Establishing ART operating models
- Planning and facilitating Program Increment (PI) events
- Removing systemic impediments
- Improving flow using metrics and coaching
- Collaborating closely with Product Management, Architecture, DevOps, QA, and other shared services to align cross-team efforts
- Ensuring timely delivery
- Leading cadence and ways of working
- Facilitating PI planning
- Managing risks and dependencies
- Enhancing team collaboration for efficient software development
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 7+ years in Agile delivery
- Experience managing software solutions
- Proven PI Planning facilitation
- Strong stakeholder management
- Knowledge of SAFe frameworks preferred
- Experience with Azure DevOps/Jira preferred
- Background in computer science preferred
