Release Train Engineer

Role: The Release Train Engineer (RTE) is responsible for facilitating and maturing the Agile Release Train (ART) to ensure predictable delivery and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Establishing ART operating models, planning and facilitating Program Increment (PI) events, removing systemic impediments, and improving flow using metrics and coaching. The RTE collaborates closely with Product Management, Architecture, DevOps, QA, and other shared services to align cross-team efforts. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of 7+ years in Agile delivery, experience managing software solutions, proven PI Planning facilitation, and strong stakeholder management. Knowledge of SAFe frameworks, Azure DevOps/Jira, and a background in computer science are preferred. Key Duties: Ensure timely delivery, lead cadence and ways of working, facilitate PI planning, manage risks and dependencies, and enhance team collaboration for efficient software development. Focuses on enabling team alignment, flow, and delivery excellence in a dynamic software environment.
