Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Aids the Project Manager and project team in day-to-day General Contract and Subcontract administration.
  • Maintains job site safety and accident prevention.
  • Schedules construction activities.
  • Procures and expedites materials and equipment.
  • Coordinates mechanical, electrical, and piping systems.
  • Reviews shop drawings and submittals for coordination.
  • Reviews and updates project costs, reports, and accounts.
  • Assesses subcontractor applications for payment and prepares change proposal pricing.
  • Documents and negotiates change orders and associated cost reporting.
  • Researches and suggests improvements in construction methods and equipment.
  • Maintains As-Built plans.
  • Ensures quality control and project closure.
  • Enforces safety and EEO/Affirmative Action programs.

Minimal Qualifications

  • College Diploma in Construction Management (preferred).
  • Construction internship or related construction work experience (preferred).
  • 5+ years of general knowledge of construction principles/practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Proficiency in Blue Beam.

Compensation

The annual salary for this role is $70,000.00 - $105,000.00. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. This role is eligible for variable compensation including short term and long-term incentives.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk.
